Happy Birthday Evie and Kallie!!!

To my sweet girls:

Five years ago today I held your tiny little bodies. Counted your tiny toes and fingers, 20 of each. I cried as I saw all the tubes and wires surrounding your isolets and heard the continual beeping of monitors. Over the years we've grown together. You are my two sweet girls and I love you. I miss you now that you've gone to school. Thanks for loving me, laughing with me, and hanging out with me. Happy 5th Birthday sweeties, Mommy loves you!

5 years ago today!

Why, oh, why, do children who wake with the sun need alarm clocks for their birthday?

(K, top and E, bottom)

Mama Ford made both cakes! How sweet (literally). Kallie, of course, had Superman and Evie, of course, had Barbie. Please notice how their older brother decided to "taste" the icing of each cake (at the bottom).

Hi Jennie!
I just found your blog via Sara. Your kids are so grown up (and cute)! Olivia actually just had a birthday, too, on the 7th...can't imagine what a double-party is like! You guys look like you're doing really well.

That Bratz clock has got to be the biggest alarm clock I have ever EVER seen!

Tell Mama Ford an excellent job as usual on the cakes :-D

Happy Birthday to the Girls!! It's hard to believe that it has been 5 years already. WOW!!

How are things going at home all by yourself today??

Alicia,
It is so quiet around here, I cannot believe it!
Cheyenne,
Glad to see you dropped by!
Rachael,
I can't figure out these clocks. I've never even had a clock that had to be set by winding. The girls were disappointed because I "set" their alarms last night and they didn't work this morning!

Jennie! All I have to say is Amen. I don't know why my kids would want an alarm clock either. Their eyes have to be super sensitive to light or something! I will send you the money for the Avon. Sorry we missed you yesterday. The boys were losing it! Hope you are well.
