Eight years ago today I was introduced to my very own Yankee Doodle Dandy at 8:19am. It was the longest and best July 4th of my life!
Not long after he was born my Mom's boss commented, "If he was born on July 4th he must be destined for something special."
I couldn't agree more! I don't know what or how but mark my words, this boy's going somewhere!
His sister Evie remarked not too long ago, "He's not like other boys."

Awwww. . . Happy Birthday, Holdyn!!! Kinda sad how quickly they grow up. Just today I looked at Sydney and thought to myself that she looks like a completely different child. There is no semblance of babyhood left. Seems like those last bits of babyness have disappeared in just a matter of days.
