The journey into the unknown

 Today, after a long time of not writing I've decided to write about a big event in my whole family's life. My mom (Jennie) got a job. After finishing her dissertation, mommy applied all over the country for jobs as a English perfessor. After many nos and many first enterviews she made it to the second enter view at Gannon a university. Then all at once she got a campus tour and enter view and they loved her. And one day me and Kallie were playing in the hayloft of are barn outside and playing war of zombies when mommy got a call and it was Gannon they hired her and 3 months later we moved from Alabama to Pennsylvania a 13 hour trip. So June 30 our renters moved in and we started our decent to our new house. Daddy drove the moving truck the whole time through Alabama,Tennessee, Kentucky,Ohio,and then part of Pennsylvania. We got settled in and now we are mostly getting used to the time change. But daddy had to go back home to Alabama to finish out his notice. But on July 30 we fly back to Alabama for mommy's graduation and then drive back in our new car to Pennsylvania. My first time on an airplane. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!.

my legs :(

So I found out on Saturday that I had impetigo on my legs. I had to go to school on Wednesday found out who I got it from. It came from the same boy who gave me lice in 2nd grade, but it has started to get better. The places on my face are gone and on my legs it has gotten smaller.I take medicine every four hours and apply cream. It works a lot.So that 's the scoop.Wish me luck!

TENNIS FAD

                    SO MY MOM (JENNIE) BOUGHT US TENNIS RACKETS AND THREE BALL. YESTERDAY (24TH OF MARCH 2014) WE WENT TO THE TENNIS COURT.  EVIE AND I  HAD ALREADY LEARNED HOW TO PLAY VERY LITTLE WITH MR.VAN ABLE (P.E. TEACHER AT ARCADIA ). WE THOUGHT WE WERE VERY GOOD, APPARENTLY NOT! LAST NIGHT THEY GOT TWO MORE RACKETS AND WE WENT TODAY AGAIN TO THE TENNIS COURT. THE WIND WAS BLOWING HARD BUT WE STILL PRACTICED HARD. MY  ARM STILL HURTS BUT I AM A DOUBLE GIRL SOCCER, AND TENNIS. MABEY SOON MAYBE I CAN BE A TRIO GIRL!

Why does my puppy want to be inside so much.

 Okay so we have a chord that's metal with a plastic coating on it. Well we just got back from playing tennis Kallie will tell you about that . Anyways, we got back and Kallie was putting up a bike we brought and my puppy ran past her.She was like what I thought we weren't bringing her in. She chewed the chord in halve!!! So we had to get the actual chain from my daddy's shop so that's what she is on right now.

 This week I'm making fried pickles and hamburgers.

 

Fried Pickles:

onion ring mix

dill pickle chips

  vegetable oil

 how you make them:

 put oil in cast iron skillet and heat to 350.

Then make onion ring mix.

Drain pickle juice and dry pickles and dredge in flour and put in mix, fry and serve.

 

 hamburgers:

ground beef

dale's steak sauce

steak seasoning

How you make it:

marinate the beef in dale's and make into patties.

Put steak seasoning on patties, grill and serve.

my recipies # chili and brownies

2-12-14

 

 Chili:

ingredients:

1 pack of bear creek chili

7 cups of water

1 6oz can of tomato paste

how u make it:

 Boil 7 cups of water on medium high heat. Then add bear creek chili pack and tomato paste.

Brownies

indigents:

1 pack of fudge brownie mix

2 eggs

3/4 of a cup of canola oil

1/4 of a cup of water

how you make it 

put all the ingredients in a bowl

grease a 8 by 8 pan 

put batter in a pan 

and put in a 325 degrees oven

take out in 15-20 minutes.

Hey y'all starting today I'm going to make my part of the blog a food blog. So I'm going to post pictures of the food I make and the ingredients in it. Also I'll post the recipes and how you make them. You might be wondering why I'm doing this well my family is doing the biggest loser contest so we went on a healthy spree and we can have something unhealthy on Friday or Saturday. I really don't like that idea but okay. Anyways today I'm going to do my chili and my Brownies.

Okay I know how I just blogged two days ago but, i just read Holdyn's last post and I'm not typing this from Siberia!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I went to the museum of natural history with my cuz and did a scavengure hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways if you read my last post you saw I have been doing THEATER CAMP at the Shelton State Community College and it RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i've been reading a new series called the Hannah Swensen mysteries by Joanah Fluke. i'm on the scond book the straawberrie shortcake murder but, the first one is the chocolatechip cookie murder,.But anyways i have been doing lots of reading i'm about to read 4 magic books, Nanny Mcphee Retuns and The Princess Bride. Also I have been doing lots of art work,and been swiming.

I don't really have much to say...and I am to lazy to write a title, so I guess I'll start by saying that Evie and Kallie both moved to Siberia, I met a guy who works with dead body's, and I went to the museum with Cora, Kipp, Bliss, and Zade and did a scavenger hunt. I watched the Hobbit this morning and got mah phone back. One problem, I don't have darn internet access. So, bye.

Why am I so excited?

     Okay so you know on my last post I talked about What happening, what would happen and what I was doing. well my Aunt Sara Uncle Blasen and cousins are visiting! yyyy yah yah!!!!! Also my perents are going to the beach. But they are going without me, Kallie and Holdyn. :( :( We have to have a babysitter for a couple of days but I guess its not that bad. Also we have been going to the pool. 

I have been watching my brother play mine craft and I've got to say you can do some funny things on there. Like have you seen how funny they look when you run? It is hilarious!!! If you don't know know what im talking about it's at the top left hand corner of the screen in mine craft. If you don't know what it looks like feel free to google it becaus it is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sup, everyone. So today I get to go to the library and get to play wii games. I hope they have super Mario brothers because I have not played a super Mario brothers game in years. Also, tomorrow I get to go with the young men and daddy to my best friend, Cole Daily's house. And, I also get to go to the pool with Sara's family. So, I guess this is it for today.

My 2nd blog post ( about a sad thing)

Before I tell you anything, I just wanted to tell that if you don't have a DSI, this won't make sense. I wanted to get a new video from flipnote Hatena, but when I got there, it only said message from Hatena. The message said that Hatena ended on May,31st, so it does not exist anymore. I was so sad, I couldn't see anymore videos or get anymore. I have to go.

My busy first days of summerbreak. or maybe not so busy

         Okay so over the past couple of days we've been kinda busy. I think. Maybe.We've been out of town, been hanging out with family. I just thought over the summer we would just hang out,but we have thing to do that i didn't expect.So anyways Kallie and I got scholarship to the Tuscaloosa acting academy.Are nabor teaches at the academy and she said to sign up for the scholarship and see what would happen well mommy didn't teal  us so if we didn't get it we wouldn't be disappointed.That will start in a couple weeks.Also we have cosins and my aunt and uncle are coming to town from Wisconson.so I don't guess we won't be bored.

My 1st blog (about Minecraft, of course)

Sup everyone! This is my 1st blog post >:D. If you cannot tell from the epic face, I am excited! Now I will tell you about my Minecraft experience. I had received the full version of the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition , yeah! I was so excited I started to play right away. A few minutes later, I found my 1st stronghold. But the downside was that it was in creative mode(creative mode is when you have unlimited items and blocks break instantly) I destroyed the Enderdragon and finished the game, but I got the most epic prize ever! The dragon egg. Before I go, I wanted to tell you that while I was exploring, I stumbled upon an abandoned Mineshaft! The chests in abandoned Mineshafts might have some useful items, like diamonds!So anyway, I have to go.

A true "family blog"

So this space has been sorely neglected for an entire school year. I'm sad about that, but somethings have to give so that we can function on a daily basis. That said, the Vaughn kids have decided that they want this to be a truly family blog (for at least this summer). In other words, they're taking over. Holdyn, Evie, and Kallie will now be contributors to this space. I'm excited! I can't wait to see what they do!

First day of school 2012

A middle-schooler and two 4th graders

I'm probably more nervous today than any other first day of school -- ever. My baby boy goes to middle school today. MIDDLE SCHOOL! It doesn't seem possible. I wasn't this sad or scared when he started kindergarten and neither was he. I'm putting on a strong, happy face for him and praying like crazy. It will all work out, I know, but faith is a frightening exercise sometimes.

Note: I actually wrote this post on Monday. I'm just getting the pics off my phone and onto my computer. At least I'm doing it, right?

A belated birthday wish for two early girls

These two girls came into our lives 8 weeks earlier than planned. But, in many ways, they came right on time. In many ways, they saved me. Being a mother had been my life-long dream and when Holdy-boy was born part of me was so, so happy. And yet, I struggled. Looking back, I'm sure I was suffering from post-partum depression. I felt awful, lonely, and isolated. Holdyn was a terrific baby, K a terrific husband/daddy, and I was living my dream, but I just couldn't function much of the time. Slowly things got better (not great, just better). I was thrilled when I found out I was pregnant for a second time and terrified when told I was pregnant with twins! TWINS!

By the day the girls made their scary, early, and quick entrance something had changed in me. The hard pregnancy, the fear, something, had toughened me and made me realize that I couldn't wallow in self-pity or worry anymore. I had 3 little people who depended on me. It was time to step-up to the challenge and claim my blessings. And I did! Since then, I've still struggled periodically, but motherhood has given me strength and courage. Whenever I think I can't do something tell myself, "You can do this. You've birthed 3 children and 2 of those at once!" It may sound silly, but it works. Acknowledging that hard work gives me strength.

So, I'm wishing a belated Happy Birthday to my two early girls! Nine years ago you saved me, and you've saved me many more times since. I love you!!!!

I wrote this earlier in the week, but I'm slow in moving photos from the phone to the computer. So this belated birthday post is doubly belated. One day I'll get my self together, promise!
