Hey Jennie! I read your comment about the baby stuff. You are too kind! I am trying to think of a plan to get out that way. I think the drive would be over two hours so I'm not sure I will be able to do it, but trying to think through a plan. Will let you know something soon. Thank you soooo much.
Yes, those are buff orphingtons. They have been good chickens for us. This is our third summer with them and they are still laying. They went through all last fall and winter when we would only get about 2 eggs every three days (we have 17 chickens) so we thought they were through. And then, about a month ago they started laying again. Not as much, but about 7 eggs a day. At one time we were getting 12-15 a day! I couldn't sell them fast enough!
We are at the very end of Jefferson Co, almost to Tuscaloosa Co. In McCalla, about 10 minutes from Tanneyhill State Park.
